The Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2026 show may have been filled with pajamas, but it certainly wasn’t a snooze. For starters, there was an unforgettable surprise: Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci walked in as their Devil Wears Prada characters, Miranda Priestly and Nigel Kipling, just as the show began — a meta moment that set the tone for what was to come.
Seated in full character, they entered fashionably late, greeted by flashes and applause. Across from them sat Anna Wintour, on whose persona the Priestly character is loosely based. The moment felt threaded with theatricality and homage.
A Pajama Party on the Catwalk
Dolce & Gabbana embraced sleepwear as their central theme, transforming pajamas into statements of style. The designers reworked classic menswear-inspired sets, infusing them with modern cuts and embellishments. Some pieces were sharply tailored, others oversized and relaxed. Crystals and stones elevated the fabrics from casual to couture. Models walked in fuzzy faux-fur slides, while outerwear pieces — including oversize fur coats — doubled as luxurious blankets.
Sheer robes layered over bustiers, lace tops, or transparent trousers brought sensual contrast. Accessories ranged from mid-calf socks to corsets over ribbed tanks, offering a playful balance between comfort and seduction. The broader message was clear: dress without rules, whether choosing sheer pajamas or classic cotton.
Florals Blossom in Unexpected Ways
Spring florals were everywhere — but not in the usual way. They appeared in printed motifs, 3D appliqués, delicate embroidery, and crystal embellishments. Whether on striped trousers, crisp blazers, bralettes, or flowing maxi dresses, floral accents imbued the collection with a blooming freshness.

The collection stayed true to D&G’s recognizable style by weaving in lace, bustiers, tailoring, and animal prints. Black lace under sheer layers lent lightness; bustier dresses were paired under button-downs or cinched with corsets; and tailored pajama shirts and trousers featured masculine precision. Leopard print also made a strong appearance — notably in a cape-style coat and a utilitarian mid-length jacket.
Fur (Faux) Accessories Steal the Show
Of the 66 looks in the runway lineup, about half featured faux fur — in keeping with the brand’s fur-free policy. Bold leopard-print coats and a floor-length powder-pink fur coat turned heads. Even more arresting were the plush handbags and furry slides, which completed many of the ensembles.
