Fashion For Action Returns To Support New Yorkers

One of New York City’s most anticipated charitable fashion events has officially returned. Housing Works has launched its annual Fashion For Action fundraiser, turning its Chelsea flagship store into a destination for designer pieces at up to eighty percent off the original price.

Designer Deals With A Purpose

While the event is known for its impressive selection of discounted luxury items, Fashion For Action is about far more than shopping. Every purchase directly supports Housing Works programs that provide housing, healthcare and essential services for New Yorkers affected by homelessness, HIV and AIDS.

Inside The Chelsea Flagship Event

All merchandise featured at the event has been fully donated, making every sale a contribution with real community impact. Fashion expert Robyn Mowatt whose dedicated room highlights black designers said accepting the invitation to participate was an easy decision after more than a decade in the industry.

Event Schedule And Admission

The multi day event opens Wednesday with a ticketed preview night starting at forty five dollars. From Thursday through Sunday Fashion For Action becomes free and open to the public offering even more opportunities to support the cause.
