Dior Appoints Josh O’Connor as Brand Ambassador

Dior has officially named British actor Josh O’Connor as its newest brand ambassador, formalizing a long-standing creative relationship with the house under creative director Jonathan Anderson.

“Josh and I have worked together for many years, and he is a dear friend,” Anderson said in a statement. “He is a remarkable actor who brings a thoughtful precision to his work — quiet, considered and consistently original. It’s a partnership that continues to evolve, and I’m thrilled he joins me for this next chapter.”

O’Connor has been closely associated with Anderson’s work for several years, regularly appearing at Dior events and wearing tailored looks from the house’s menswear collections. His public appearances have often featured sharply cut Dior suits, classic black tuxedos styled with crisp white shirts, refined accessories, and polished leather Dior CD loafers, underscoring the alignment between his personal style and the maison’s aesthetic.

Reflecting on the appointment, O’Connor described the collaboration as a natural continuation of his creative dialogue with the house. “This partnership with Dior feels like stepping into a world where tradition meets bold creativity, and to join the Dior family with Jonathan Anderson at the helm is incredibly exciting. His vision for the house — honoring its history while innovatively pushing forward — resonates deeply with me,” the actor said.

“I’m grateful to be part of this new chapter and to work with a brand that continues to redefine what’s possible. Jonathan’s unique perspective combined with the timeless heritage of Dior is shaping something really special,” he added.

As brand ambassador, O’Connor is expected to represent Dior at major red carpet appearances, global events, and key cultural moments, reinforcing the house’s ongoing dialogue between fashion, cinema, and contemporary culture.
