How a Fashion Battle decides who sells better

Two models, the same commands at the same moment, and an audience that answers with its likes.

Two modelsOne battle, two sides, no group castings.
Identical commandsBoth hear the same task at the same moment.
The audience decidesNot the brand, not the agency, not the jury.

The rule behind every rule

The concept

Every battle has a concept

Models compete in purpose-built fashion tasks. Each battle runs inside one vibe: Beach, Party, Office, Date night, Vacation and other fashion categories, and then narrows to a single subcategory. Both models compete inside that same subcategory, never across two.

Swimwear

Classic swimsuits and beachwear. Nothing to hide behind but posture, line and control.

Resort look
Beach · Subcategory

Resort

Elegant vacation and resort looks. One garment has to carry a whole holiday.

Beach cover-up look
Beach · Subcategory

Cover-Up

Light beach layers and effortless summer style. The hardest kind of ease to fake.

Beach is one of 13 vibes. Party, Office, Vacation, Date night, Portrait, Cinematic, Active, Lingerie and more each open their own subcategories.

What a battle measures

Four stages, one question

  • 01Product selection
  • 02Emotional connection
  • 03Selling power
  • 04Freestyle
01

Product selection

The model gets a style and builds the look herself. What is tested is not a taste for pretty things, but the instinct for products that can actually sell.

Style givenLook chosen by herSellable, not just pretty
02

Emotional connection

On the cyclorama the model works with the camera through changing emotions, in close-up and at full height. What is tested is whether she can build an emotional contact with the audience and hold it while moving.

03

Selling power

A model has to sell not only herself, but the product. This is where LookBerry separates the ones who simply collect likes from the ones who actually move purchases.

04

Freestyle

Full freedom: face, poses, movement, garment, accessories. The last chance to show a personal style and real commercial power. When the jury has seen enough: “Stop. Thank you.”

The brief

What the jury can ask for, and what it cannot

Allowed

Allowed

  • Models choose their own products within the assigned style
  • Both models receive the same emotion commands
  • Both models receive the same movement commands in the same order
  • Each model may interpret the assigned style differently
  • Different looks are allowed as long as they match the assigned style

Not allowed

Not allowed

  • No returning to the Boutique after leaving
  • Photographers may not enter the Boutique during look selection
  • Models must select and create their looks without assistance
  • No jury help, hints or corrections during the battle
  • Models must follow the assigned style and challenge

The vote

Two likes, two different questions

Attraction Like says the model works. Style Like says the look works. It is the one that shows commercial power, and the one that moves a model up the ranking.

A model can lose on attraction and still win the battle, if her look is the one people want to wear.

  • Every vote is publicResults are open while the battle is live, not revealed after the fact.
  • One person, one voteNo paid votes, no bought positions, no bots in the count.
  • Votes move ranksClimbing ranks is the only route to bigger battles and brand campaigns.

Fair play

Four things that keep a battle honest

Equal conditions

Same style, same cyclorama, same light, same commands for both sides.

Open results

Votes are visible live, and the count cannot be edited.

Ranks, not favours

Position is earned in battles, never assigned by a brand.

One winner

No shared places, no ties. The audience always decides.
