The Tokyo-based bag and accessory house Yoshida & Co commemorates its 90th anniversary with an exhibition titled “Every Day Is a New Beginning”. This event pays tribute to its founder and highlights nearly a century’s worth of Japanese manufacturing excellence.
What is on display
The exhibition features never-before‐seen items, including the founder’s original handcart used post-war, a bespoke bag created for a major Japanese film, a signature horseshoe-shaped coin purse, and an archival trunk case. In addition, special silkscreen posters and limited-edition anniversary items are offered.
Philosophy and heritage
Founded in 1935, Yoshida & Co has maintained its commitment to “Made in Japan” craftsmanship. The brand’s philosophy treats bags as functional tools, combining utility with aesthetic care, and infusing each piece with dedicated craftsmanship.
