A New Chapter in Milan
Luxury footwear and accessories brand Manolo Blahnik has opened its first standalone boutique in Milan, the heart of Italian fashion. The two-story, 100-square-meter store is located on the prestigious Via Pietro Verri and is described as a refined space that reflects both the designer’s artistic inspirations and his deep personal connections.
Tribute to Heritage
This is only the brand’s second address in Italy, further highlighting its commitment to Italian craftsmanship since acquiring the Re Marcello factory in 2019. The boutique’s design pays tribute to Blahnik’s late mother, drawing inspiration from the monochrome aesthetic of her black-and-white tiled kitchen in Spain. The interior aims to create a continuous and expressive composition that serves as a timeless yet modern backdrop for luxury footwear collections.
Artistic Inspiration
A devoted admirer of sculptor Constantin Brâncuși, Blahnik incorporated design elements inspired by his iconic work “Endless Column.” Tall, structured, and rhythmically repeating geometric forms echo the sculptural elegance of Blahnik’s signature heels, reinforcing the synergy between art and design.
Exclusive Collections
At launch, the boutique features the Summer and Fall 2025 collections, influenced by diverse sources ranging from old Hollywood muses to artists and fashion photographers. To mark the occasion, three exclusive styles — Sixahi, Trinca, and Pranzana — are also presented. These designs draw from the Bauhaus movement of early 20th-century Germany and the work of Italian architect and industrial designer Gio Ponti.
