Los Angeles Fashion Week Powered by Art Hearts Fashion returned with vibrant energy as designers from California and around the world presented standout collections at The New Mart downtown fashion building from Oct. 16 to 18. The event drew a crowd eager to experience bold creativity, craftsmanship and diverse cultural influences.
California Designers Deliver Standout Runway Moments
Attendees were captivated by a strong roster of California-based designers, including BFYNE, Coral Castillo, Cross Colours, David Tupaz, Glaudi, Kentaro Kameyama, Merlin Castell, Mister Triple X, Alexis Monsanto, The Mestizo, MNM Couture, Maribel JD, NKN Nekane, Richard Hallmarq, Pia Bolte, Venus Prototype and the Black Design Collective Upcycle Denim & Sustainability Project 2025.
The collections spanned a wide range of categories, from California chic and couture to bridal, costume couture, streetwear and menswear.
Black Design Collective Highlights Collaboration and Community
A major highlight was the Black Design Collective’s powerful presentation, which united emerging Black designers, minority women and LGBTQ+ creators. The collective partnered with Guess Jeans, Wells Fargo and The Salvation Army to showcase how cross-sector collaboration can amplify representation, creativity and social impact.
Art Hearts Fashion Strengthens Its International Reach
Art Hearts Fashion continued to champion global talent with more than 30 international designers taking the stage. Creators from Europe, Asia and South America brought their collections to Los Angeles, reinforcing AHF’s mission to unite the global design community under one inclusive platform.
Erik Rosete, founder and president of Art Hearts Fashion, emphasized this expanding vision, noting that the season marked the organization’s most international lineup to date. Fresh from a successful run in London and looking ahead to shows in Shanghai and South America, Rosete highlighted how fashion connects cultures and communities around the world.
A Glimpse Into What’s Ahead for Art Hearts Fashion
Several collections, including those from Mister Triple X and Alexis Monsanto, offered early previews of the direction and energy expected at Shanghai Fashion Week, scheduled for Nov. 9–13.
Adding to the excitement, former NBA star Lamar Odom—known for his time with the L.A. Clippers and L.A. Lakers—attended as a distinguished guest. He plans to collaborate with Art Hearts Fashion through an upcoming brand showcase in Shanghai.
