Retrospective Exhibition Marks 50th Anniversary
As part of the company’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the opening of a retrospective exhibition at the Pinacoteca di Brera, scheduled for Wednesday, 24 September, will also take place as planned.
The continuation of the fashion shows and the exhibition, which Giorgio Armani personally oversaw until the end, reflects the company’s commitment to preserving the designer’s legacy of dedication, respect, and professionalism—values that have defined him throughout his career and inspired his collaborators over the years.
Film Project Announced: “Armani – The King of Fashion”
In related news, film producer Andrea Iervolino has announced plans to shoot a movie titled “Armani – The King of Fashion.”
The film project was initially started between March and April 2025 but was postponed to avoid speculation during the designer’s illness. Following Armani’s death, the producer decided to wait until after the funeral before formally announcing the project.
