Policy on False Reports of Policy Violations

We take any report of a violation of our policies seriously. False reports slow down our investigations of real problems and thus make it difficult to protect our members. Any report must reflect a sincere belief that someone has violated LookBerry policy. If someone intentionally makes false reports of policy violations, we may take action against their account, such as restricting their activity on LookBerry. For more information, see our full policy below.

Will LookBerry take action against a customer who mistakenly blamed the store for adding concealed shipping charges after purchasing an item?

If the buyer feels offended and reports it to us, we will look into it. We won't be able to help if there is no evidence that the store added the extra charge after the buyer bought the item. We do not disclose the outcome of cases, but if we believe the customer's claim is false and malicious, we will take action.

LookBerry's customer service contact policy

For additional assistance with problems encountered, the user can always contact our support team. However, if contacted, all data will be verified to avoid misuse of complaints. In the policy we will review the cases of legitimate requests for help.

Reporting a product or offer that violates LookBerry policy

If you believe a product or offerer in the LookBerry catalog violates any of our policies, please let us know. If any product information in the catalog seems inaccurate or incomplete, read our Offer Policy. If the problem you encounter is related to the product you purchased, such as if it did not arrive, or if it is defective, damaged, or does not match the description in the offer, you do not need to report it. Instead, read the Returns Policy to get help with your refund. You should only report an item or offerer to us if it violates one of our policies. Here are some examples of when to report an item:

  • It is prohibited for sale on LookBerry.
  • It violates someone's copyright (such as a photo or video) or trademark (such as a brand name or logo).

If you have a problem with an item you purchased - for example, you didn't receive it or it arrived damaged - this is not the appropriate place to report it. Instead, you should work with the seller to resolve your problem. If the seller can't solve the problem, LookBerry can step in and help. More information can be found in the Returns Policy.

Tip

If you are a copyright or trademark owner and believe they are being infringed, you should contact LookBerry support.

Tip

If there is nothing wrong with the item, but you think the seller is violating our policies, you can let us know by reporting the seller.

How to complain?

You can file a complaint by following these steps:

  • From the personal and business account page the complaint is filed against the account itself. You can also block.
  • It can be filed against the product card (fashion feed, bookmarks, fashion tab in personal, and tab with cards in business).
  • You can make it against the Dating profile (Dating profile is different from the regular profile).
  • In the chat:
  • If the chat is opened via mutual likes/Hot Likes in dating, then the complaint is made against the dating account.
  • If chat is opened via Hot Likes from the profile, the complaint is against the profile.
  • If the chat is with a Brand, then complaint is against the profile. Personal account can report a complaint about a Business account. Brand can also report a complaint about Personal account.

Report a Problem to a Seller

We have developed rules to ensure that LookBerry is a safe place to buy and sell. If you have a problem with a seller because they are not following our rules, let us know and we will look into the matter. If your problem is that the item arrived defective, damaged, not as described in the listing, or didn't arrive at all, don't tell us about the seller - instead, use one of the buttons below:

If you notice an item that should not be listed on LookBerry, you do not need to report the seller; just let us know by reporting the item. You only need to report the seller if you think they are violating our policies. For example:

  • A seller offers to sell you an item outside of LookBerry.
  • Seller has no intention of completing the sale.
  • Seller sends you threatening messages or uses abusive or vulgar language.
  • The seller has given you false contact information.
  • You suspect that the seller is under the age of 18.

This is not a complete list; you'll find all of our policies here.

Report a Seller

To get your money back, you need to either let us know that you didn't receive your item, or issue a refund if the item arrived and doesn't match the description. We take all reports seriously, please make sure your statements are accurate. Learn more about false reports of policy violations. You should only report a seller if you think they are violating our policies. If there is a problem with an item you have purchased, try to resolve it with the seller first - you can always ask us to intervene if you need to.

Dishonest Customers Policy

Our Policy on Dishonest Customers addresses unacceptable customer behavior. Customers may not abuse reviews, returns, customer protection programs, or payment dispute processes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if I think a customer is making unreasonable demands?

You do not have to agree to any additions or changes to the terms of your ad. If a buyer makes demands that are not part of your offer, you will be protected from negative feedback and defects if you either deliver the item the buyer purchased in accordance with the original terms of your listing, or cancel the transaction. To help us identify customers who make inappropriate purchases, report abusive behavior. We encourage you to communicate with the customer in a courteous and professional manner.

What is a payment dispute?

A payment dispute occurs when a customer initiates a chargeback for a purchase transaction with a credit card issuer or payment service provider. For more information, see the Customer Policy and how to resolve payment disputes in the Payment Policy.
