Men’s Collection Tommy Hilfiger New York Spring–Summer 2026

The Tommy Hilfiger New York collection, first introduced last June at Pitti Uomo, marks the designer’s most elevated and sophisticated menswear direction to date. Positioned as the pinnacle of the brand’s offering, the line draws heavily on sartorial traditions while maintaining the preppy undertones that define Tommy Hilfiger’s design language.

A dark camel duffle coat crafted from wool serge — described by the designer as “the color of the season” — sets the tone for the collection. Traditional in its origins, the coat is relaxed through elongated pockets and wrist cuffs. The same camel shade appears in a suede shirt jacket, styled alongside a waist-length jacket in a colorful, exploded plaid, highlighting the balance between tailoring and ease.

Signature Tommy Hilfiger pieces such as varsity jackets and rugby shirts are reimagined in brushed wool and cashmere blends. Overcoats feature classic glen checks and Donegal patterns, while blazers, chinos and overshirts are made from fine Italian fabrics. These are paired with technical wool jackets designed with performance features including thermal regulation, crease recovery and water repellency.

“I think there’s the beginning of a trend of men dressing up again,” the designer said during a preview at his New York showroom. “Men who have never worn a suit are now wearing blazers, sport jackets, neckwear, dress shirts. And it’s not only here in the U.S., but it’s all over most cities. We’ve been casual for a very long time, and that’s the core of our business, but adding this layer and making it blend with casual dressing was the objective.”

The tailoring offering includes blue blazers with gold buttons, gray flannel suits and double-breasted pinstripe models, all styled with pleated, high-waisted trousers. Rather than traditional dress shirts, these looks are paired with burgundy turtlenecks, lending a more relaxed and contemporary feel to classic silhouettes.

Among the standout tailoring pieces is a camel two-piece suit with a matching double-breasted topcoat, a personal favorite of Hilfiger’s. The suit lineup also includes a corduroy model reminiscent of the one worn by Dustin Hoffman in The Graduate, reinforcing the collection’s American cultural references.

Outerwear and knitwear expand the range with a shearling aviator jacket, leather trucker jackets, cashmere fisherman’s sweaters, a boxy peacoat in a cashmere-wool blend and a Western-inspired shirt finished with pearl snap buttons, a yoke and flap detailing.

Throughout the collection, red, white and blue accents appear in striped linings and paneling. The entire lineup introduces a new logo: a lion penny crest on a navy background, with a woven New York inscription beneath and the Tommy Hilfiger name embroidered in white thread, signaling a more refined visual identity for the brand’s next chapter.

“This really is the top of our pyramid — more elevated, sartorial dressing,” he said.

The Tommy Hilfiger New York collection will be available in the company’s stores, select premium department stores and online
