Amiri appoints Yuta Jinguji as global brand ambassador

Los Angeles–based luxury fashion house Amiri has named Yuta Jinguji, a member of the Japanese pop group Number_i, as its new global brand ambassador, continuing the label’s expansion through music-driven cultural partnerships.

Asia has become a key region for the Amiri brand, with the company operating stand-alone stores in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, underscoring its long-term commitment to the Japanese market. The appointment of Jinguji further strengthens the label’s positioning in the region, where pop culture and fashion are closely intertwined.

Jinguji is known for his polished yet contemporary personal style, which aligns closely with Amiri’s aesthetic — a balance of refined tailoring, luxury casualwear and a rock-inspired sensibility rooted in Los Angeles. The brand has built a strong reputation for premium denim, sharply cut outerwear and statement footwear that blends craftsmanship with a modern edge.

In recent months, Amiri has accelerated its global ambassador strategy, signing a series of high-profile international figures. These include world champion Mexican boxer Saul Canelo Álvarez, as well as South Korean rapper Sunwoo, a member of the K-pop group The Boyz. The approach highlights the brand’s focus on cultural relevance across music, sports and entertainment.

By partnering with artists and athletes who resonate with global youth audiences, Amiri continues to position itself beyond traditional luxury marketing, reinforcing its identity as a fashion label deeply connected to contemporary culture. The addition of Jinguji is expected to further amplify the brand’s visibility across Asia and other key international markets.
