adidas and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team have officially unveiled their teamwear collection for 2026, continuing their collaboration into the new Formula 1 season. The range is designed as full-fledged on-track working apparel rather than lifestyle merchandise, with a focus on functionality, durability and a unified visual identity for drivers, engineers and technical staff.
Throughout the 2026 Formula 1 season, the teamwear will be worn by drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, as well as by other members of the Mercedes team in the garage and paddock. adidas notes that the collection was developed with real race-weekend conditions in mind, including high temperatures, tight schedules and prolonged physical demands.
The lineup includes short- and long-sleeve T-shirts, polos, lightweight jackets and technical outerwear. A key feature of the collection is CLIMACOOL technology, designed to deliver effective ventilation and temperature regulation during periods of high activity. The color palette is anchored in black, accented with PETRONAS teal and restrained silver details that reference Mercedes’ motorsport heritage. The graphics are clean and technical, reinforcing the utilitarian character of the teamwear.
Footwear is led by a co-branded version of the adidas Ultraboost 5. The model features a gradient finish transitioning from PETRONAS teal to black and is completed with metallic silver Three Stripes. Built on the Ultraboost 5 platform, the silhouette combines responsive cushioning with a knit upper, offering comfort for extended wear both trackside and while traveling between race weekends.
According to adidas, the 2026 collection was developed in close collaboration with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team personnel to ensure that fit, materials and construction meet the real demands of Formula 1. The brand emphasizes that these are not fan replicas, but the same garments the team uses during race weekends.
The adidas x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team 2026 collection will launch in line with the start of the new Formula 1 season, marking another step in adidas’ expansion within motorsport and its ongoing effort to merge high-performance sportswear with contemporary design.
