SS2026 Beijing Fashion Week — 150 Events

From September 10 to 17, the SS2026 Beijing Fashion Week captivated the city with a record-breaking 150 offline events, uniting over 300 brands and 150 designers across Beijing’s iconic landmarks.

A Grand Opening by Guo Pei

The celebrated Chinese couturier Guo Pei opened this season with her latest haute couture collection, setting a tone of artistic excellence and cultural pride. The runways paid tribute to China’s intangible cultural heritage, featuring Batik, Miao embroidery, Xiangyunsha, and Song brocade. Ethnic influences such as Manchu embroidery, Tibetan costumes, and Xinjiang Etles silk added depth and authenticity. Designers and brands from Italy, Germany, Sweden, and Nigeria also used the platform to debut new products.

Spotlight on Emerging Designers

At the Beijing Fashion Week Emerging Designer Support Program, outstanding young Chinese artists and international talents from Tsinghua University, China Academy of Art, University of the Arts London, Central Saint Martins, Parsons School of Design, and the Royal College of Art showcased forward-thinking collections that reflect the confidence and ingenuity of the next generation.

WEEK UP Trend Exhibition and Fashion Festival

The official parallel event, WEEK UP Trend Exhibition, offered hands-on experiences: live show-and-sales, craft workshops, aesthetic salons, and open classes that turned fashion into a tangible encounter. Meanwhile, the Fashion Festival, in collaboration with nearly a hundred commercial complexes across Beijing and Hebei, created an immersive celebration for audiences drawn to shopping, entertainment, and culture.

2025 marks the 10th anniversary of Beijing Fashion Week. Born in the capital and growing alongside its cultural pulse, the event has consistently resonated with the times. Looking to the next decade, Beijing Fashion Week enters a new chapter with greater confidence and a broader global outlook.
