Las Vegas Debuts Its First Fashion Week 2025

Las Vegas is taking its place among the world’s fashion capitals with the launch of Vegas Fashion Week, running from November 12 to 16, 2025. Known globally for its lights, luxury, and entertainment, the city is now adding high fashion to its glittering portfolio.

The event, led by Carrie Carter Cooper, founder and executive director of the Las Vegas Fashion Council, aims to celebrate local talent while redefining the city’s cultural landscape.

From Modeling to Movement

Cooper, who began her career as a model in Las Vegas, envisioned an event that merged her two passions — fashion and philanthropy. She believes the city’s creative community deserves a spotlight equal to its sports and entertainment industries.

“Las Vegas has checked almost every box — sports, entertainment, major events — but fashion was the missing piece until now,” Cooper explained.

Inspired by Elaine Wynn’s Vision

The concept of fashion in Las Vegas isn’t entirely new. Cooper credits local icon and philanthropist Elaine Wynn for first recognizing the city’s potential as a fashion hub.

“Elaine Wynn always believed our city would only be complete when fashion had a true presence here — and now it’s finally arrived,” Cooper said.

Reflecting on Wynn’s influence, she added:
“I adore Elaine. She was a visionary, a mentor, and an icon. Years ago, she even hired me as a model, and much of what we’re building today was inspired by her foresight.”

What to Expect

Vegas Fashion Week will feature designer showcases, live runway presentations, trunk shows, competitions, and a full schedule of entertainment. Local and emerging designers will share the spotlight, offering a new perspective on the city’s creative identity.

Tickets start at $55, and full details are available at VegasFashionWeek.com.

As the curtain rises, Vegas proves once again that when it comes to reinvention — the city never goes out of style.
