COS Returns to New York Fashion Week for the Fourth Consecutive September

A Stage of Modern Elegance

COS made its fourth consecutive appearance at New York Fashion Week this September, presenting its Autumn Winter 2025 collection. The show was staged at the Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse in Brooklyn, where an industrial setting was transformed into a pristine white stage of modernist refinement. Suspended light boxes shifted from warm tones to crisp white, highlighting the quiet strength of 47 unique looks.

A Palette of Contrasts

The collection drew on deep tones of black, steel grey, and navy, contrasted with neutral accents. Materials such as pony-effect textures, supple leather, and shearling created visual depth through matte and glossy finishes. Sheer fabrics offered moments of transparency, while heritage-inspired checks gave bold statements across apparel, accessories, and footwear.

Womenswear Highlights

Womenswear explored sculptural volumes with enveloping scarves, high-neck shapes, and cocoon-like draping. Cinched waists and open necklines referenced the 1950s New Look, while versatile day-to-night pieces, including a softly structured silk dress, embodied modern elegance. Accessories and footwear echoed the collection’s materials, with leather loafers and sock boots completing sleek silhouettes.

Menswear Innovations

Menswear balanced function and innovation through tailored pieces. Oversized shapes and sharp shoulders refreshed classic tailoring, while tonal layering modernized coordinated dressing. Details such as epaulettes, pocket features, and tailored trousers added practicality. Textural richness was seen in basketweave knits and chenille, with footwear rooted in timeless leather boots and trainers.
