Bárbara Bandeira Debuts Fashion Label 2B at ModaLisboa Base

At just 24, Portuguese singer Bárbara Bandeira is expanding her creative career into fashion with the launch of her new label 2B. The genderless and timeless brand will make its debut at the 65th edition of Lisboa Fashion Week on October 3 at 10:30 p.m., closing the third day of ModaLisboa under the theme “Base.” The exclusive show will be held at Lisbon’s Pátio da Galé, accessible by invitation only.

Bandeira recently teased the launch on Instagram, linking her black-and-white Modalisboa portrait to the 2B account with the message: “Modalisboa with lots of good news still to come this year.”

2B: A Manifesto of Expression

According to the Modalisboa Association, 2B represents an extension of Bandeira’s creative vision. It is described as a territory of freedom, beyond gender, time, or trends, entirely made in Portugal. The brand is presented as a manifesto of pure expression, where imperfection becomes beauty and each piece conveys identity. Deconstructed silhouettes highlight contrasts between strength and fragility, sobriety and rebellion.

ModaLisboa explained that 2B is more than fashion, portraying dressing as an act of creation where authenticity transcends conventions.

Eight Stages of Transformation

The debut collection unfolds through eight symbolic chapters. Genesis represents a blank canvas full of possibilities, while Flow explores the body in constant metamorphosis. Impetus reveals armor that both protects and exposes vulnerability, and Vibration conveys sensation and sound merging into music. Duality depicts opposites colliding and seducing, Insurrection embodies a cry of defiance against norms, and Labyrinth evokes unpredictable layers of complexity. Finally, Manifesto emerges as a radiant climax where brilliance becomes a symbol rather than an accessory.

For Bandeira, dressing is creation itself: genderless, timeless, and without limits.
